They also have a new male host so that's two new hosts. Remember you have two hosts going on Maternity leave so eventually there is going to be two less hosts for awhile. |

She has been training for a few months already. I wished she stayed in news & moved to the NYC market! Seems like she doesnt want to leave that area prob b/c of family. But Stacey dont forget the NYC market isnt THAT far away  & if you come here you will get LOTS of new fans!

They have two hosts on Maternity leave before (Pat and JaneT), and they didn't need to hire new hosts. That was when they only had 22 hosts, now they have 27 hosts. The hosts used to be on air 12-15 hours a week 4-5 days a week. Gabrielle said that she averages 5 hours on air a week. It is rare for Lisa to be on air 10 hours in a week. Do they really all these regularly scheduled shows with two and sometimes three hosts or waste hosts doing this?

Maybe they do want to do more host pair shifts. HSN had been doing that overnight having Carrie and Robin co-hosting. |

When QVC started pairing hosts like HSN does. They also started having all these "one hour, one product" shows, longer presentations, no variety and repetitive programming, hard sell hosts and guests... like HSN does. Since QVC changed how they do things about 5 years ago, the major complaint is the lack of variety in the programming and having too many people just chit chatting on the shows. |

At least QVC is live 24/7. HSN gets annoying with 5am hour usually a rebroadcast of 12am. |

When you turn them at 6pm, 9pm and 11pm on many evenings, and the same host and guest are presenting the same item... very annoying. Several of the "Your Home with Jill" shows last August- September where pre-taped. |

A good thing about QVC is they never had any male hosts on for women's clothing and accessories shows, till now. Noticed the new male host is now hosting those shows.
