Connie has announced on her Facebook today after a long time she is retiring.

Connie Kunkle EVINE Live- It is with a sad heart that I inform my EVINE Live customers, coworkers and friends, that I am leaving my position as an On-Air Host and taking early retirement. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with the company and my interactions with its loyal and loving customers. I will miss the encouragement and friendship from this community. At least it confirms our suspicions. I wish her well. I'll certainly miss her bright personality... okay, and her curvy body, too.

Am I missing something here? I thought she's been gone from ShopHQ/EVINE for over a year? Has she been on recently and I just missed her? She was by far my favorite host there. Always sexy, always upbeat, always fun to watch. I wish her the best.

 Don't know the last time she was "on air", but I thought she was gone at that time. Always upbeat, great body and great fun! Best wishes for the future to Connie!!

About the same time that ShopHq became EVINElive (whatever the heck THAT's supposed to mean), I saw that Connie wasn't on the schedule and her bio was scrubbed from the website. Lots to speculate from that point. Maybe she had a year's worth of vacay to burn? A year long contract dispute? Family/personal issues that unfortunately stretched out over the last year? Whatever really happened will probably not be for us to see. In any event, take care Connie...we will miss you!

Agree that something odd went on with Connie as soon as the change was made to EVINE. She disappeared. I also noticed that Connie didn't post much on social media after that either. Perhaps it was a personal problem and had nothing to do with ShopHQ changing to EVINE? I don't know. But she sure was the main reason I tuned into that channel. Hoping Kunkles will show up on another shopping channel soon.

I'd knew you guys would be on top of this. I was searching out information on her and came across the post. In the Shop NBC days I used to follow Connie more intently. December 2014 was the last time I saw her on tv. She did release an album that December. Sarah Anderson also left last fall abruptly citing a need to be with family more. |
