to me, this proves the theory, we all have skeletons in our closets. she also let her appearance go a little bit, does not look anywhere near like she used to.

(WTXL) — A former television host is behind bars in Leon County after being arrested on multiple felony warrants. According to court documents, former Home Shopping Network (HSN) star Christine Scanlon, 59, was arrested and booked into Leon County Detention Facility on Thursday. Scanlon has been charged with being a fugitive from justice for multiple felony counts related to theft, forgery and tax evasion. Arrest documents say Scanlon is facing two charges for felony theft, two charges for felony forgery and one felony tax evasion charge out of Routt County, Colorado. She was arrested at her Tallahassee apartment Thursday evening. Scanlon is being held in jail on a $10,000 bond while she awaits extradition. She was due in court for a first appearance Friday morning. She served as a HSN host for more than 21 years before moving on to other opportunities. |

2 counts of theft of $100K to $1 million, 2 counts of forgery by public instrument, 1 count tax evasion. The best I can tell from public records is that she had a mortgage on her home in CO and ran into financial troubles. So she may have filed a forged or fraudulent release of lien for the mortgage and took out another mortgage on the property (because 2nd bank thought that there was no longer a mortgage on the property). The tax evasion is probably for not reporting this illegally obtained financial windfall on her tax return (state income tax return--doesn't look like the IRS is involved yet). |

I hope she is able to get her life together again, she was my favorite personality on HSN. |

This is unfortunate. She had some of the sexiest feet. I always looked forward to all of her shoe shows. |
