Colleen has another new host (A black one) how many new hosts does HSN think they need that now makes 5 new ones :?

enough with the new hosts HSN you DO NOT need all these new hosts :evil:

At first I thought several new hosts were just getting a test run but Todd Newton and Candace are already listed on the hosts HSN.com page so it must mean they are official and going to be there for at least a year.
That one article online said HSN are phasing out the older hosts and I believe that to be true. I'm guessing it's just a matter of time before many of the old hosts get the boot and are replaced with younger, better looking, and more hipper hosts. HSN overall is much more daring and more contemporary than QVC.

I highly doubt Colleen is leaving and there are hosts older than Colleen

I think on the female side Colleen may be the second oldest. She had people older than her till they got rid of Alice and Tina Berry now she's the second oldest. I think Bobbi Ray is still older but thats about it.

She has been there since the old days when it was HSC and even before then.....I forgot what they called it. Chris has been there a long time also...when she first showed up she was called Chris Whitten.

I agree those 3 (Chris, Colleen, and Bobbi Ray) would be the likely ones to get rid of if they were gonna do so even though it seems like Colleen and Chris are very popular so I don't know if they would.

Also I agree that if they did try and get rid of faux Colleen (Shannon) that she'd probably have a fit. She seems like a lifer and like she wants to be there forever!

I'm cool with the African-American hosts since some of my alltime favorite hosts happens to be African-American(Terry Lewis,Atonia Pettiford)

But where's the Asian host? I'm sure there must be 1 Asian applicant that qualify to host.If i have to guess does it perhaps have to do with where HSN/QVC is located.

I really miss Atonia. She is on Myspace. I have no clips of hers, because all her good stuff was done on america's store and I ddint have AS until a month before she left.

Colleen is either 46 or 47 I cant remember which

Bobbi Ray is in her 50s and Chris is about the same age as Colleen give or take a year and even Callie is in her 40s

plus some guy hosts are also up there in age

Alan Skantz will be gone. When you click on his host profile, you get nothing as far as his shows. Even though he is listed in the schedule, there is no clickable link for him and he is only doing coin shows. :Kool

I'm all for freshening up the on-air talent but it's strange to see so many
newbies trying to settle in at the same time - many shows have a bit of an amateur feel to them right now.

When they were hooping up the "HSN Today" show a few weeks ago, they ran a commercial with a young black guy and a younger woman with glasses but we haven't seen them yet.What happened?

Maven was on today (as a vendor) w/ the new girl mentioned at the top of this thread (Carla Fisher).
BTW the HSN today promo refers to someone named Katie although the gal in the video looks somewhat like Kara Connor :?

Katie is indeed a cutie - nice dimples! Kara also wears those sexy librarian glasses so it's easy to get them mixed up.
