On October 15, the longtime CNN Chief White House Correspondent received an award from her alma mater.
The University of Alabama honors their own in inducting them to their College of Communication & Information Sciences Hall of Fame during an annual ceremony on campus.
Here is more about her story, along with a clip from ESPN SEC Network host Paul Finebaum on why she is so honest, special, and truthful--especially during these uncertain times we are all experiencing:

Personally, I think he's jealous of her, but with her colleagues along with some reporter from MS NOW, and the online site Politico getting kicked out of the White House and every major news outlet boycotting--that was refreshing and sent quite a statement.
As I said at the time, they could have done reporting across the street at Lafayette Park. There is tons of room to file reports, so it's not like they had to go several miles like international reports such as Bev Turner of GB News of the United Kingdom.
Bottom line, Kaitlan has done very well considering it has been close to a decade since she began on a full-time basis.
Consider what David Ellison and Skydance is planning, it would be a shame if she ends up following 43 year veteran international correspondent Christiane Amanpour, who announced on Monday morning that she will be leaving (although she plans to finish out her contract in June 2027, but will file her final report in the early spring.)
Congratulations to Kaitlan and as she always says in checking out her alma mater, "Roll Tide!"
