Another milestone was reached early on Friday afternoon, as Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes reached
2,000 episodes of their podcast.
It wasn't during their usual weekday editions of "Morning Run".
It wasn't about Brian Austin Green on "I Do, Part 2" listening to voicemails on how women should approach dating.
It was not about two major networks refusing to cover the speech filled with lies from The President I Refuse To Name on Thursday night, and those networks/both linear and cable who decided to cut away after several minutes to do fact checks.
It was also not because of what happened with the Epstein survivors appearing in front of lawmakers at a major hearing in Washington, and the aftermath that followed.
Rather, it was about the longtime teleprompter at the White House (had been employed since 2016) who lost his job after placing bets on prediction market Polymarket over what words and phrases he used in his lie-filled speech. It was all over social media.
As we know in sports and general workplaces, betting is illegal. Amy and T.J. also mentioned how they used teleprompters back in the day, just so they could have their local newscast hit the air (glitches aside), and how difficult and stressful that job really is.
Wait until you hear how much Gabriel Perez was making on an annual basis during his 10 year gig as a teleprompter operator.

CBS Mornings--although nothing has been confirmed about that pending the merger of Paramount which is mired in legal trouble and might take months to be settled.
