You just described MSNBC when Jansing's gone.

Excellent post :Thumb

I call BS on this
I think it's interesting a lot of people like the rotating hosts setup
I just doubt Fox will continue it because that isn't the way it rolls
Check out the F&F First Facebook page and you'll see a LOT of people lobbying for their favorites to be the permanent host
Yes, I questioned one post because it was a BS answer
So far, F&F First has dominated the ratings with every combination, so I doubt that will be much of a factor
Of course, if Fox decides to name permanent hosts, I want Ainsley to get the gig
Most of the other rotating hosts already have hosting gigs and Ainsley doesn't
But I'm VERY happy Ainsley's visibility has increased since F&F First started :D
She is doing reports on F&F First on the nights she is on the overnight shift and she now is doing reports for F&F, too
Long overdue and well deserved :D :shades  :Kool

Call BS all you want. If you're going to open a discussion on who everyone thinks should host the show, then you have to be willing to accept opinions that differ from your own, like them or not. Otherwise, why even start the thread? Why not start a thread titled 'Ainsley should host F&F First, sign here if you agree' or something to that effect instead?

I feel like I have
I think it HAS been an interesting discussion
I guess we just disagree

Guess I'll throw 2 cents in...

If it were up to me, I'd leave the rotational thing in place as it is. A different pair every week, no carry-overs (like Ainsley/PAB
one week, and then Ainsley/Anna the next). With only the same combos occurring occasionally.

If for no other reason, than it gives us a good variety, as others have said; no one can complain about their faves not being given
a shot at it. It's not as if there are 75 different women there... You'll get your favorites back without too long of a wait, possibly during the same month.

Maybe the producers could just use the old "names out of a hat" method.
After all, isn't that how so many other news network decisions seem to get made? :TickTock

Ainsley and Anna are good, but I prefer the rotating anchors. More variety.

All I ask is keep the men to a minimum, or even eliminate them altogether.

How is it long overdue?? How has Ainsley paid "her dues"??

There are others who have been at FOX longer... :wave

I'd say working the overnight shift for six years, and at times staying in to host the morning show after working an overnight shift is paying her dues
Having to work with Clayton and Dave is paying your dues
Ainsley has done everything Fox has asked her to and then some
She is deserving of a host's job
Harris Faulkner was rewarded after she paid her dues
I feel Ainsley should be too :Kool
Jamie and Heather, among others, already are anchors

Harris was only rewarded with a weekend shift. If you're going to go by paying dues, than PAB would deserve it over Ainsley.

Ainsley and whomever is fine. Except "dumb and dumber' from F&F Weekends.

If they continue the rotation, Marianne definitely should be included when she returns from maternity leave, as should Elizabeth Prann :D

Why don't people like Clayton Morris He's cool, he reminds allot of Clark Kent.
I wouldn't want him to host Fox and Friends First but I'd love see him get some kind show where he can talk about gadgets, comic books and movies.

I although I'm rooting for the A-Team to be permanent hosts (for three days out of the week at least) I do have a few dream combo's I'd like to see host, but most likely never will.

Nicole Petallides and Lauren Simonetti

Elizabeth Prann and Juliet Huddy

Sandra Smith and Jaimie Colby

Heather Childers and Cheryl Casone
