Oh wow...Nicole,Lauren and Sandy in studio....the mind races at the possiblilities. I think I have to at least try them out Monday.

Another update on the key guests to be seen on the new shows, especially with Trish Regan welcoming billionaire investor Carl Icahn as one of the guests on her debut show Monday afternoon:

But the real reason why I am still continuing to watch Fox Business every chance I get--the one and only reason is of course, Liz Claman same time as usual at 3.

Yes, I will admit even though it is going to suck for a short while since we won't be seeing her during After The Bell--except when she reports from the road (i.e. Las Vegas every January at the CES, in Davos, Switzerland at the World Economic Forum each February, and early May with Warren Buffett's annual Berkshire Hathaway shareholders meeting in Omaha).

Instead, enter Melissa Francis when the market closes. However, I hope the wow factor shouldn't level off with having Deirdre Bolton's Risk and Reward program move from the hectic 2 p.m. hour to the rather cool zone hour of 5. IMHO, I really hope the mood of that program (especially with the popular "Elevator Pitch" segment every Friday) is not as tense as Gerri Willis mostly gave FBN these last five years.

What an All-Star TV business lineup this is going to be.

And yes, I thought having Jenna Lee teaming up with Nicole in the mornings way back in October 2007 with Rebecca (Gomez) Diamond on "Happy Hour" was fun, but this is going to be one thrill ride after another. (just as long as the economy performs decently and we don't get too much depressing news like there has been in recent weeks ).

Sometimes, Lauren would be reporting live from the NYSE in the hours leading up to the closing bell.

Other times, it could be Adam Shapiro there.
We will find out on Monday.

So today I'm starting my morning with Ainsley Earhardt, Heather Childers, Sandra Smith, Nicole Pettalides, Lauren Simonetti, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Heather Nauert, Maria Molina, Cheryl Casole, Maria Bartiromo, Robin Meade, and Jennifer Westhoven.

I couldn't figure out which one I liked best and i'm a HARDCORE Nicole Petallides fan who thinks since her and Jenna's show has been wasted on that channel for a long time now, so that says something about Lauren!

One advantage FBN: AM has over F&FF is it can't do the tight sit down shots because of Sandra standing in the middle

Two subtle changes during the 3 p.m. hour:

Liz no longer looks to her right during sit-down interviews.
Minimal leg shots due to the blockage by the glass desk is a result, unlike during Trish and Sandra's shows.

Also, she had what IMHO is the quote of the year:
"You left me for a blonde, David."

Of which Melissa Francis had to say, "It was bound to happen, Liz."

All of this when there was about 33 seconds before the close.
To me, that is very, very sad.

Overall, hot times on FBN AM and Trish grilling the likes of Carl Icahn is going to be must watch TV and online clips for sure.
Only time will tell how long the 3 p.m. hour remained to be as great a show as it has been for several years.

Also, Melissa is sitting where Liz used to stand. There were also no reports from the NYSE floor like they have been.

The reason why there will probably be no more reports from the NYSE during Liz's show is because Nicole is on FBN AM and consequently, she moved her primary floor reporting duties to the late morning/early afternoon hours during Maria Bartiromo and Stuart Varney's expanded morning shows.

Also, getting rid of the old ATB desk--that was a surprise.
