Morning news is seriously starting to suck...

CNN: With the worst ratings in 20 years, they hire some FNG to break up Ashleigh and Zoraida on Morning Start. The FNG must be a major tool because obviously no one is getting up between 5-7 a.m. to just cap Zoraida by herself (or is she being held hostage by a Desk Monster?) Ashleigh's probably on too late to bother capping, and she inherited the Desk Monster from Carol and Kyra.

What's next, CNN? Replacing Brooke Baldwin (or Erin Burnett) with Candy Crowley?

CBS: In the last 18 months the exodus has been: Maggie Rodriguez, Betty Nyguen, Juile Chen to afternoons, and now Norah O'Donnell is being pulled from the White House correspondent's job to replace Erica Hill. CBS this Morning is trying to imitate MSNBC's "Morning Joe" with Gayle King and Charlie Rose. An Orpah surrogate with one of the most milquetoast douches in TV journalism (same as Bob Schaeffer and the dumbass who got his colonoscopy done on live TV).

HLN: I've kinda fallen out of love w/Morning Express. I would take Robin over most of the tools and douchebags at the Big Three, CNN, and MSNBC, but casual Friday is being done more than once a week. Also, she and Jennifer Westhoeven have occasionaly fallen to Natasha Curry Slacks Disease. Jennifer has pretty much succumbed to the desk monster...and the Birkenstocks she occasionally flashes?

NBC: I will not rehash the BS soap opera that was the Ann Curry Scandal on Today. The real problem is Matt the Douche. Al Roker needs to go back to The Weather Channel where he belongs. Given the current format, they might as well fire everybody and just let Hoda and Kathy Lee run wild for three hours.

ABC: The Big Three leader by default. Amy Rorbach and Ginger Zee aren't sexy enough to overcome the super-toolery of George Stephanopolis, or the deluxe doucheness of Brian Ross. MSNBC: Forget "Lean Forward"...my motto for them is "We Have To Pay for Sex". Mornings is Candy Crowley from 6am til noon, Wolf Blitzer from noon to to four, AJ Hammer for two hours of entertainment BS...then the triumphant return of...wait for it...COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN. Four hours of his uber douchebagtoolery...then Piers Morgan from ten to midnight.

MSNBC...same old same old, except Joe becomes more like Chandler Bing, Mika becomes one with the Desk Monster, the young dudes (Willie Giest, etc) become older tools and the four senior citizens become Grumpier Old Douchebags...

The Feds could try lifting their press passes, but hopefully the other news outlets wil protest.

In making that judgment, the FCC is entitled to consider past conduct of media owners, including conduct that does not relate directly to their broadcasting interests, as well as any patterns of alleged misbehaviour.

Broadcast is over air, not cable. They might go for uplinks under that, but if the signal travels under fiber optics, FCC I don't think can stop it.

There is some precedent for pulling licenses, and FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski on Wednesday said he takes the News Corp. complaint “very seriously.”

"If any issues arise, the commission has an obligation, we would take it very seriously, to look at the record, look at the facts and apply the law," Genachowski said.
