She may be moving to Jersey, but how likely is it that her next job is with Today?
Al Roker's got weekdays locked up, unless there's some extremely unlikely plan to dump him....
(pair Al up with somebody? Also not too likely--the show's a bit crowded as it is)
Stephanie's his sole fill-in, and it's a safe bet that as long as she's with TWC, and she's also part of Wake Up w/Al,
that's also not likely to change.
So that only leaves weekends -- where Stephanie's already got Sundays, and Bill Karins does Saturdays.
At best, Dylan can get weekends only if they push off both Steph AND Bill... or she only gets one day worst case.
That doesn't sound like the "opportunity of a lifetime" as Dylan's Boston station calls it.
She's either hooking up with another network, or it's one of the NY local channels -- that's my guess.
* all that said - NBC could be a bit desperate right now where Today is concerned - put nothing past them
