Thea Andrews returns to daily U.S. TV as the new co-anchor of "OMG! Insider" joining existing host Kevin Frazier,
beginning in January --

Thea takes over from Brooke Anderson, who's being reassigned by CBS/Paramount to "Entertainment Tonight"
as a correspondent and possible fill-in for Nancy O'Dell.

This is sort of a homecoming for Thea, who worked for the same producers on "ET" several years ago
as a correspondent & host herself.

As for the bizzare new name of the show, apparently "the Insider" has a new partnership with the
Yahoo's online showbiz platform, OMG! and rather than leave the show's name alone, it now will
be a mashup of the two titles.

However, it's being called one of the stupidest names given to a show ever.
"OMG! Insider" --
sounds like something a teen virgin hears in his head the first time he's having sex. :jetserl

Nonetheless, good to have Thea back on TV! :Thumb

Hopefully, it will be a small return to another show she co-hosted way back when with Mario Lopez called ESPN Hollywood.

And here I was thinking since Debbie Matenoupolus, who was filling in on the show, would take over if Brooke ever quit. I was wrong. Also I have no idea why Thea quit ET a few years ago, before Nancy took over. Vanessa Lachey then joined the show and when she quit then Samantha Harris came on board and was on Mary Hart's final show spectacular. I have no idea what Sam's presence will be on ET, as well, now with Brooke joining. Maybe Harris leaves. Harris was one of the people who filled in if I recall right.

P.S. Oh yeah I had forgot that over 2 years ago I found Thea doing videos on OMG!

Samantha did leave -- actually a year ago next month.
So she hasn't had much of a presence at all in 2012 ;) :mrgreen:

She's been sort of a fitness guru and full time mom since leaving ET, and her only major TV work
recently was co-hosting "Stars Earn Stripes" on NBC:

As for Thea's ET past, I think she left on her own accord to spend more time with her son, who was born in
2008, while she was doing ET. Then when she hosted Top Chef Canada in 2011, she stepped down from that too
because of pregnancy with her next child:
