I was cleaning up my youtube channel, seeing what I had and how it ranked with searches, and I find that THIS butthead https://www.youtube.com/user/hotnewscasters is copying my videos to his own channel so he can make money off the google ads and send people to his porn web site. He can't even spell. I reported the videos he copied. ![]() I recognized the work of some other WWOW artists there, so you might want to report his videos like the example I showed aboveI did above. If you subscribe to this butthead, you should drop him. I'm not all that crazy about copying videos and caps, but doing it to make money and promote a porn site just begs for a response. Mel |

This guy has been taking my Jamie video and caps(He took IceMan's too) and trying to pass them off as his own on some pop-up web cam blog. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjCVVjBM20Y http://jamiecolby.tumblr.com/ Quote: If you enjoy these pictures please click ads and buy stuff, please, i’m broke and need some cash LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get a job you bum! I'm kinda like you don't care all that much if somebody is re-posting my work but not to try and make money off it. And what really bugs me the most is that they'll copy my work but they don't say thanks here on the thread/forum where I posted it. |

I've been going through stuff like this for three years now on Youtube. When one goes away, another pops up. It's difficult to get rid of a-holes trying to make a quick buck off of other people's work. |

It's not like you guys own the original videos. You are just copying someones work and putting it on YouTube. Just like the guy you are complaining about. |

Quote: It's not like you guys own the original videos. Yeah and you don't see me trying to make money off of copyright material do you? Quote: You are just copying someones work and putting it on YouTube. If that's all I'm doing then why don't they make and post their own copied videos to youtube? I'm not just copying I edit my caps and video and that takes more time and effort. If I was just copying straight caps and video you might have a point. But I do in fact have to put work into doing what I do. And I don't post my videos on youtube/google. I don't like google and youtube is full of nothing but the lowest common denominator. I prefer to share my caps and vids on this board with like minded people who actually appreciate what I do(well some of you). |

Just like the guy I'm complaining about? Not even close, me bucko. There's a difference in asking (which is cool) and taking (which is not cool). Frankly, I don't care if they ask, post them however they want, and make a million on Google Ads. It doesn't cost me a penny. This is a hobby. What I DO care about it someone taking something for the purpose of making money, and SPECIFICALLY making money on a cheezy porn site. Anybody who has wanted videos or caps I made has gotten them since 2006 when I learned how to make them. Mel |

centricguy wrote: It looks like hotnewscasters channel was shut down. ![]() Good. I put in 3 complaints on his videos showing the exact videos he copied. I think the big difference was he was promoting that cheezy porn site using the videos he copied. |

I get that the whole 'this guy is stealing my work' point. It used to aggravate me too when I posted videos. But that guy and anyone else who is doing is is not making money off your videos. Youtube doesn't allow monetization on tv shows or tv clips at all, unless you're partnered with one of the major networks that has the rights to post that content. Some average user taking videos from say, sites like this one then uploading them to youtube is not going to be partnered with say, Machinima, lol. I know this from experience, as I've been uploading to youtube for 6 years, 2 of which I've been partnered with them. I couldn't even monetize footage from a Megadeth concert (that I filmed myself) because of how strict their rules are for monetizing videos. |

Not sure if this guy has any of my vids, but I know of 2 who did the same thing and are running some type of adds. I don't own the copyright, but it still takes quite some time to edit and thus I added logos to my vids(so far no complaints as they are placed just right). Seems to have fixed the problem since I haven't seen any of the logo vids copied. Been running my channel since Oct 2010. I should have been here a long time ago, but forget I saved the link whenever I found it the first time. Thanks to NickA130 on youtube for sending me back here. |

I have tons of her stuff, just been varying the uploads. I will throw up some her best ones I haven't yet this month. I still record her everyday and usually do a quick edit since her folder gets big. Probably only pass on her 1 out of 20 shows when it's the same dress/hosiery combo. On the other hand I have some that are the same and still saved them as well. I am currently trying to catch up on edits as hard drive space gets lower, but I have tons of stuff that could be uploaded. I guess I have been taking the low view counts lately as a negative, but should keep uploading for those who really appreciate the work. Finding time of course is the other issue. |

I have seen entire websites created using my Kiran Chetry videos. It takes time and effort to make and post a videos like one sees here. There is a huge difference between someone who records, checks, cuts and edits, uploads to a file host and posts here than some a$$hole who takes that finished product and proudly claims it as his own. I don't understand why guys like you even visit these sites. You obviously have no clue to the work & time involved in recording, rewatching, editing, combining segments, uploading to host sites and then uploading again to WWoW. I have gone as far as to pay for watermarking software in an attempt to disway douchebags from stealing my work. But as many have mentioned it is not worth the aggrevation when all is said and done. |

Exactly. I find it insulting to say we're just copying video. I guess it's easy to just look at the finished product a set of caps or a 2-5 min. video and think it wasn't much work. But every single thread I do here cap or vid takes me on average an hour of my time to do and some take longer. And then just to take our work without even saying thanks. A person should say thanks regardless, cause eventually that's when cappers just stop capping. |

That Alisyn bikini pic video was mine originally. And I was the one who did the very bad 'copy and paste' of Aly's head on Princess Leia's body, as a joke!! And Aly knows who I am and was aware of who sent it in at the time. So yeah, I did come pretty close to creating the video.
