CNN is bringing back Crossfire, which will be hosted by Newt Gingrich, Van Jones, Stephanie Cutter, and SE Cupp. I hope they'll use SE like Fox/Red Eye did and not MSNBC lol.

That's an interesting group. I'll definitely be tuning in for that.

Curvy couch or leg chair seating chart:

Stephanie--Van--Newt--SE

I, too, am fascinated by the potential of this show.

The original "Crossfire" was almost exclusively a desk-bound show, and very often used the
split-screen approach for guests not in-studio, a pretty conservative corporate meeting look about it:

But this is a different time, and CNN may follow more of the format used by "The Five" with a more
open and airy desk --and yes, maybe with a leg chair or two.
I think we might have gotten a glimpse of what to expect when they experimented with
"Get To The Point" for that one week test run a couple months ago:

It may wind up looking something like that, but we'll see.

In my mind (and my mind only I am sure) S.E. Cupp moved from Fox because they wouldn't let her wear her favorite leather skirt any more. MSNBC promised her she could wear it all the time but always stuck her behind a desk and never let her show off. Now that CNN has reversed their "no leather skirts" policy (leather skirts seemed to have departed with Kiran Chetry, with only Robin Meade being able to get an exception until gorgeous Brooke Baldwin broke the spell!), S.E. Cupp knows where she belongs.

At least that's what I'm hoping.

I'm not sure that's really any much better than the set up she had on The Cycle. Like The Cycle this is an obvious attempt to compete with The Five. So CNN if you're gonna compete with The Five then compete with them head on and give us what we want, leg chairs!

If they were smart they'd one up Fox and go with two leg chairs.(which I know technically Fox has but seldom uses. May this would start an all out leg war amongst the two networks! :Victory )
