HLN is covering The George Zimmerman trial 24/7. So why does Brooke have to cover it for the entirety of her 2 hours also?

She's wearing the shortest dress. So short, that she won't even cross her legs. But they have her in a small box in the corner while she's doing her interviews, so they can keep showing the courtroom at all times. It's ridiculous.

Unfortunately tabloid type journalism gets more viewers then straight or opinion type news. Which means more $$$$

FNC will more then likely still beat CNN in the ratings. But CNN will get more viewers then they normally would.

Brooke's show was so frustrating today.

CNN was covering it W2W all day. Which is pointless because that's what HLN is for. But no worries, this trial will only go on for several months, which means no need to bother with CNN until sometime next year...heh.

The trial is only projected to last about another 2 weeks or so.

Personally, I think this case has enough elements/dimensions to demand attention; I wasn't on-board with the Jodi Arias and Casey Anthony craziness.

On a production note, I can't stand the whole small box thing either, or banners, or showing looped footage too long while people are talking

It's not just CNN. Today Fox had Martha covering the Zimmerman trial for the full two hours. This trial is going to ruin everything!

No one watches MSNBC anymore, so no one noticed, but they're been covering it W2W as well. It would piss me off, but Jansing's been gone since sometime last week. So, not missing much.... and if this trial only lasts a couple weeks, I'll be impressed. I expect no less than 2-3 months...

I have to question Zimmerman all the time when Egypt is blowing up for the second time in three years

It's actually the third time in three years for Egypt.

But the networks focus on national, rather than international, news.
