Apparently, Elizabeth has an alcohol addiction problem, which explains why she's not been on TV recently. Hope she gets better.

I am in treatment and am so thankful for the love and support of my family, friends and colleagues at ABC News. Like so many others, I will deal with this challenge one day at a time. If coming forward today gives one other person the courage to seek help, I’m grateful.”

I would say WOW but the fact is no one is immune or exempt from addiction. I've always loved the "Vargas" girl. I am so glad she has the support group she mentioned. It will be a big asset. I wish her nothing but well.

I hope she gets better. Also she runs into Laurie Dhue.
