Although not babe-centric, the article also says Carlos Diaz is out, too. Are the bricks starting to fall in the ATL? |

chris217 wrote: "A spokesperson for HLN says Curry decided to move back West to be with her family." I'd bet anything that the spokesperson conveniently is leaving out the rest... "...after finding out what a crapfest HLN is going to be turned into." And take note of the fact that both Natasha and Carlos came to these "decisions" only a week after the big production meetings held by HLN management: https://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/al ... ln_b205853 Yep, and then there was a pissed-off looking Robin Meade up in NYC last week, around the time we were getting the stuff about Zucker wanting to shift all production out of Atlanta to NY. It all fits together somewhere in the plan: Create discouragement among the expensive talent -- piss them off, make them unhappy, even to the point of leaving, make sure not to renew contracts when they're up also... and there you go. Now you've got room for new cheaper talking heads, who won't care about the programming quality as long as they've got a foot in the door. It's all in the recipe. If Zucker gets his way, HLN (and CNN as well) will barely be recognizable in 4 or 5 years. . |

I think Susan Hendricks hosted on Sunday. And Natasha quit as much as Elisabeth Hasselbeck quit the view and Martin Bashir quit MSNBC - they were all forced out. They are so transparent, why don't they just admit that they fire people? |

I'm sure she'll get job offers. Just hope Atlanta local station have spots open because I think CNN will let go of more people including those who rather stay in Atlanta. |

If history is any indication, it's possible that stations in the Atlanta region could absorb some CNN/HLN castoffs. After one of the staff purgings a few years ago, both Linda Stouffer and Sophia Choi were hired by WSB, the ABC affiliate just a few miles away from CNN Center, and they both remain there now. . |

If Natasha is going back West, maybe LA? Or the Pacific Northwest where she is from? |

It's a big fluff pit of trivia news items trying to target a younger audience with older talent. More people are on the chop including Robin. She's served her masters well, but I think the party's over for her. I can hardly watch HLN. As for HLN's move to NY, remember that's where the Titanic was headed. |

IceMan wrote: HLN Weekend Express @WeekendExp Natasha made the tough decision to move West to be w/ her fam. WXP is still the same great show w/ a new host TBA soon! 10:58 AM - 12 Dec 13 That's likely one of those "saving face" Tweets put together by the PR department. "Let's not discuss why Natasha's moving -- let's just make it sound as benign as possible, and that we (HLN) had nothing to do with it." As said above, it's awfully coincidental that she and Carlos made their "decisions" at the exact same time, only days after the network brainstorming sessions took place. It's one of only 2 things -- People who are leaving got wind of what Zucker's got planned and got out of Dodge on their own, or their contracts were not renewed. And after seeing Robin's glum look while in NY last week, I'd bet anything that she's had some brainstorming time of her own with her agents. . |
