Interesting (albeit lengthy) article regarding HLN's rebranding strategy for 2014 which boils down to getting a younger audience by incorporating social media and following stories that are trending on the internet.

This sounds promising in that they are going to do something that will be different from all the other cable news networks but from how it is being explained I can't imagine that they are going to grow their audience trying to take people from interacting on the internet and move them to doing so on HLN.
