I'm thinking that she might not have been mad at anyone, just sort of a self-deprecating
thing as if to say "what the hell did I just say?"
Maybe she really did it in jest of herself.

With the advent of the teleprompter things have become spontaneous but in my brief stint on radio I learned to always preread the news outloud off air before reading it on air. |
