The Friel saga continues. She announced her divorce on the day of her 3 year old sons birthday in March. Had no idea she joined the I drink and work in the news business club, but it happens. There was some local reporter. Christie O'Conner, fired in SF for being drunk at work who went on Dr. Phil. Heck, I just found out former Fox News reporter Orlando Salinas fought with the management at his Virginia station and quit. The job can be brutal. |

and dangerous as well after what happened in Virginia two weeks ago. I had no idea until I saw the post on Instagram, if I recall Fox brought her in after Kiran went to CNN as a screw you to Kiran. She not the only Fox News alum to have the a drinking problem. Laurie Dhue as well. |

great looking woman. not a talented broadcaster, IMO. but that's Fox's fault for giving her a job she didn't merit. at any rate, good luck w the sobriety. |

Gorgeous and sexy as all get out...I think when she was on RedEye she was my fave guest in the early days. Probably have more shows of her saved than anyone till she left and stopped going on there. Legs that wouldn't quit. Never had ANY idea she had an alcohol problem. Good for her though. |

Of all the anchor babes I used to tweet early on when I was really enthusiastic about trying to get them to talk to me Courtney was the only one who actually enjoyed communicating. She would ask me why I picked an older username I had (spinner) and I told her it had to do with the exercise. She said she needed to get back to the gym herself. I would send her portrait caps I made of her and she used most of them on her FB. I was even getting uncomfortable because I was running out of things to say without saying what was really on my mind like "Will you marry me?" LOL! I wish her well... |

Well she couldn't been that terrible because She DID LAST SIX YEARS THERE (granted 1 1/2 years of that in LA) before her current job. |

Quote: "Heck, I just found out former Fox News reporter Orlando Salinas fought with the management at his Virginia station and quit. " Thanks Brettfan, I always wondered what happened to Orlie. He was their go to guy for a while then he was gone. Seems to be a thing at FNC and FBN anchors and reporters just disappear and you never hear what happened. |
