I was hoping for Heather Nauert (best legs at FNC in my opinion) or Sandra Smith but hey, it is what is it is. I just hope Nauert & Sandra remain at the extremely high level of performance they reached while competing for the open spot. They both put on some epic leg shows in the weeks leading up to this decision.

Agreed. As we say up here in New England, Anna got scrod. :blah Can't be too unhappy though about Ainsley getting the nod. Good second choice. :Thumb

I feel bad for the Anna fans but she still has the F&FW gig
She is still the No. 1 fill-in for F&F
She likely will resume doing Road Trip or something like it on a recurring basis
We still will see plenty of Anna :Thumb :Kool
It's also nice to see all the tweets from all the Fox ladies congratulating Ainsley and wishing her well :D
It's a measure of how well she is liked there :shades
It's also nice to see someone who worked so long on the overnight shift work their way up into one of the prime jobs in all of cable news :Victory

You never really know the real story? (no, not Gretchen) The "logical" choice would have been Anna, but maybe she didn't want the grind of that time slot on a daily basis? They are so close in terms of "type of look", but I do prefer Ainsley!

I never watch the show and don't care who got the job, but reading the comments here are interesting, there doesn't seem to be a groundswell of enthusiasm for who they chose.
nothing wrong with her, but I get the feeling some would've been much more excited if it were someone else.
