Doesn't the logo remind you of the SyFy channel a bit? Anyways, get ready to see SportsCenter Meets GMA. People like Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan, and Ginger Zee could commute via a water taxi to the newly constructed ESPN studio, as said in a Friday press release. Again, if you have not read some of my earlier posts from late 2017 after Greeny left Mike & Mike on the radio side, this is what we know: - Mike Greenberg will mostly stick to the top sports stories that happened the night before and preview the night's action. On the first show, it will be capping the last of the first 4 game series in baseball. And that night in San Antonio, college basketball will crown a national champion. - Michelle Beadle and Jalen Rose were brought on to do commentary, and occasionally get into what some people call as "puff pieces" (ala what GMA does on a daily basis, whenever there isn't breaking news or weather taking place). Hope this clears things up a bit. |

The only new information from an ESPN press release officially announcing the show's premiere is that both Michelle Beadle and Jalen Rose will still be stationed in Los Angeles since they are both host and analyst on NBA Countdown up to and including the NBA Finals on ABC. |
