Round 2 of Sexiest Woman of 2018 has ended, and the following are Round 3 bound: TOP 11 JUNIORS: Jennifer Lawrence and Margot Robbie--40% Melissa Benoist, Julianne Hough, and Hailee Steinfeld--30% Elle Fanning--6% Victoria Justice and Demi Lovato--4% Hilary Duff, Emily Ratajkowski, and Alicia Vikander--2% TOP 11 SENIORS: Anna Kendrick--30% Aubrey Plaza--22% Kaley Cuoco--21% Maria Menounos--7% Jessica Alba and Kristen Bell--4%, 10 votes Blake Lively--4%, 9 votes Carrie Underwood--2% Jessica Biel, Jennifer Lopez, and Mandy Moore--1% TOP 11 LEFTOVERS: Alison Brie--59% Katharine McPhee--29% Ashley Greene--19% Christina El Moussa, Elizabeth Olsen, and Emmy Rossum--11% Tara Lipinski--6% Olivia Holt--4% Ashley Graham--3% Priyanka Chopra and Alexandra Daddario--2% But we're not done with the first half, at least not yet. Because it takes days assembling and then modifying the starting field of 90 before finalizing it, I left out many others due to lack of interest. So to solve that problem, a Wild Card round will feature those ten unfortunates; in no particular order, they are: Maria Sharapova Skyler Samuels Amy Adams Amber Heard CJ "Lana" Perry Amanda Cerny Amanda Seyfried Fergie Rita Ora Kelly Clarkson Only one of them will join the remaining 33 -- and last year's third-place finisher Gal Gadot -- in Round 3 this fall. WHO WILL IT BE? Start voting right now and find out! UPDATE: 79% was way enough for Amy Adams to join the remaining field following the Wild Card Round. But due to the overdose that almost took her life, Demi Lovato has been dropped and in her place...Maria Sharapova, who finished second with only 10%. This is the second consecutive time in Sexiest Woman history that somebody had to be benched due to health; last year, it was Maria Menounos and her brain tumor. In any case, that was the first half of Sexiest Woman of 2018; the second half in which anything goes will begin on Monday, September 24!!! |
