Is there a Brockmire option? In seriousness, congrats to them and a long time coming for Andrea Kremer. Once upon a time in 1987, Gayle Sierens was the first woman to call an NFL game and she was offered to do six more games in 1988 but sadly for her bosses refuse to have her do any more because she was an evening anchor on WFLA (where they blew a big opportunity for publicity and ratings) so the executive producer picked Andrea Kremer to her replace Gayle and had her trained for a year but in 1989 pickle Ebersol took over NBC Sports, he fired the guy who hired Gayle and Andrea and Andrea didn't even get a chance until now. One could make the case the EP should have had Andrea call a game at least in 1988 then decide on the other five games.
