Those who take the CNN tours on Thursdays can meed the Morning Express crew at the end, but the 3,000 miles between Robin and I are a bit of a hindrance. I did order on her website (no longer active) a personalized autographed copy of her second album, which you all should be familiar with by now.

I'd obviously love to meet Robin, but I definitely wouldn't mention that I cap her. I'd be afraid she'd issue the cease and desist to me right then and there.

I met Sheena Parveen at a bar in Philly about 6 or 7 years ago. Just said hello, but she was friendly and looked great in person.

A close friend of mine is an entertainment reporter and went to school/works/has hung out with a lot of the women this site focuses on. He knows I’ve had a crush on Robin Meade since I was a kid and she was just a local news reporter. Coincidentally he struck up a casual friendship with Robin (maybe that’s an overstatement- they’ve hung out at a few work functions) and a few years ago offered my then gf and me tickets to a dinner for Turner Broadcasting employees and their friends. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to make it. He says she’s a lot of fun and pretty much takes over in social situations - talks a lot and playfully flirts

None from the US as I live in London, but have met a weathergirl and a couple of anchors.

Oh yeah CNN still does them though you would have to get up early Thursday morning plus you would have to hope Robin would be there. Still would like to do a tour of CNN one of these days. Maybe I'll get lucky.

I'm friends with several current and former local anchors from my area through Facebook. I'm also Facebook friends with Wendy Gillette.

Robin Meade once did a bit where she stood on a corner near one of her big billboards in Atlanta and interviewed people on the street. I tried looking for the clip but I couldn't find it.

I know what you're talking about, I remember that. I'm trying to remember if she did it for her video podcast or a bit on the show. I know she was wearing the same dress as she did in the photo shoot for those billboards and I think one remembered her from Chicago and another one remember her currently (at the time) but that was it. Check CNNobservations channel on Youtube they might have it for an example.

A rarity Robin hanging out with Susan Hendricks well outside the office (mostly because Robin is in bed by 6) and this was when Susan was married to a doctor was Robin's husband saw. I wonder if Robin's husband had change doctors after Susan divorced him.

Probably easy to run into someone because of the small city (I'm guessing I don't know how big your city is). I have met some local talent and Sports Reporters but no Courtney Robinson yet (though I missed out one time).

You can easily get a sense that Robin is just as cordial and outgoing in real life as she is on screen, and I'm sure she'd be a blast to hang out with. I remember years and years ago when they sold Robin & Company gear online, Robin said she'd give a hug to anybody she saw who was wearing a R&C shirt. Makes me wish I had got one when I had the chance.

Alas, my celebrity encounters are few and far between. I had my picture taken with pro bowler Earl Anthony as a kid, and I once shook the hand of legendary pinball designer Steve Ritchie, but that's it.

I met Robin Meade a few years back. I used to work with one of her directors (he worked part-time where I was employed) and he let me and a friend sit in the booth as he directed a show one morning. Robin is an incredibly busy woman. During commercial breaks, she'd do live hits with morning radio shows around the country, but you'd never know just watching the show because she's so good at transitioning from one to the other. Her director introduced me to her and all she said was, "Welcome aboard the crazy train!" Lynn Smith was also there, but she was busy doing something on the other side of the set, and our paths never crossed.

I met Ainsley Earhardt at the SC State Fair a few years back, when she was with WLTX in Columbia. She was very friendly.

Thanks! :D I was at his bowling center at Dublin way back when to receive an award at a banquet where he was also in attendance. My mom had to prod me into asking for his autograph and a photo, but he was very friendly and gracious. I can still remember him jokingly putting his hand in front of my eyes before they got the shot.

And now I'm jealous of you, epic. ;) Even it was just a quick greeting, it would've been a thrill for me to just see her (and Lynn) in person.
