Wide World of Women :: View topic - Robin Meade's jump with President HW Bush

I actually DVR'd this one day with the intention of this being my first ever screen caps. Oh, well.

Thx, newsguy...and as GHW Bush was my Commander-in-Chief during Desert Shield/Desert Storm I say:

Rest in peace, Sir...we have the watch.

One of my initial thoughts after hearing of GHWB's passing is the jump that he took with Robin nearly a decade ago. I think I posted the video way back when, but it's probably dead since it was a Rapidshare link. I'm a little over half his age at that time and there's no way I'd jump out of a perfectly good plane! Robin's thinking was basically the same at the time, but when a former president asks you to do it with them, you go along with it.

Let face it, Robin did it because for the story. She's a journalist, she when where the story took her. I do kind of agree though I have thought about skydiving (I know there are places you can "skydive" without falls thousands of feet) a few times. Also, didn't HW say his first skydive was when he parachuted after he was shot down in World War Two? RIP HW Bush
