The moment has finally arrived as Sexiest Woman of 2021 now reaches its culmination with the fifth and final round! I'm not going to run down the remaining field (okay, so Kate Beckinsale wants to finally win after 15 years and eight tries; Jessica Alba is still going for her third title while Julianne Hough wants her second (their last wins were in 2003 and 2014 respectively); and we've got others including Anya Taylor-Joy from the Second Chance Round and Nikki Glaser from the Wild Card; all of them out to prevent Jennifer Aniston and/or Brie Larson from repeating); all I'm going to do is just let your votes speak for itself. https://vote.sparklit.com/web_poll.spar ... Well...eighth time's not the charm for Kate Beckinsale, as Nicole Scherzinger has denied her the Sexiest Woman of 2021 title! The final results: Nicole Scherzinger--19% Olivia Munn--14% Kate Beckinsale--10% Nina Dobrev--9% Alison Brie and Julianne Hough-8% Jennifer Aniston, Nikki Glaser, and Margot Robbie--7% Alexandra Daddario--5% Brie Larson--4% Jessica Alba and Anya Taylor-Joy--1% Beckinsale, like Glenn Close, is now 0-8, while Scherzinger becomes the first musician since Britney Spears in 1999 (the year we started all this) to have won it all. And this comes 20 years after another Nicole -- Kidman -- claimed victory after a see-saw battle between her and Spears, who finished third behind Jennifer Lopez. Thanks to those of you who've voted; can't wait to start this process all over again next spring for Sexiest Woman of 2022! |
