After reading this article (albeit it barely touches CNN as a whole), look out to Kaitlin Collins, Abby Phillip, Pamela Brown, and maybe Wolf Blitzer and John King.

Even with Ted Turner's passing, it is going to be very sad if the founding father of cable news will see it all go to pieces. Not even former boss Jeff Zucker could have purged the way Bari Weiss has done to 60 Minutes and the CBS Evening News.

If Kaitlin Collins is let go it surely will be political because she’s one of the few who stand up to Trump

Unlike what happened to Sharyn Alfonsi and Cecilia Vega, is there any story that Kaitlin did in her recent past that brought the ire of the Trump Administration?

In Sharyn's case, it was the one CECOT story from back in December 2025. It turned out that someone in Canada was able to link the show from the 60 Minutes YouTube channel and post it for Americans to see. As it turned out the segment aired in the middle of January during the NFL Divisional Playoff game between the Los Angeles Rams and the Chicago Bears.
