On Friday, longtime WCAX Channel 3 sports anchor Shawna Lidsky due to a nearly 5 1/2 year battle with cancer at the age of 50. After being hired in 1988, she found the Vermont Brownie Company which opened up two decades later. She gained national fame in beating Bobby Flay on his signature Food Network show in 2010.
