The Vegas Golden Knights continue to make history, as they won their first-ever playoff series by sweeping the Los Angeles Kings. The San Jose Sharks delivered a huge blow to the Anaheim Ducks with a four game sweep of their own, meaning that the first two teams to advance in the Stanley Cup Playoffs will face each other in the Pacific Division Final. They are also the only unbeaten teams in the playoffs, and the most well rested; both teams haven't played in over a week. While the Knights are playing for history, the Sharks are playing for redemption. San Jose reached the Stanley Cup Final in 2016, but last year saw them receive an early exit, as they were defeated in the opening round by the Edmonton Oilers. The Sharks are looking to get back to the Final and win it this year, but they'll have to get past the Knights, who are just too hot right now. Vegas will not sweep San Jose, but they will get past the Sharks in a hard fought series. Prediction: Knights in six #1 |
