Wild Card Weekend will kick off with this divisional match between the Indianapolis Colts and the Houston Texans. Both teams made the playoffs late in the season; in Houston's case, they got in with Pittsburgh's Week 16 loss in New Orleans, and locked up the AFC South with their win over the Jags on Sunday. As for Indy, they were the last team to get in, as they defeated the Titans in a win-or-go-home battle to lock in a playoff spot. It was redemption for Andrew Luck, who has been sidelined for so long only to return to January football, while the Texans started 0-3 and won 11 of their final 13. However, the two teams split the season series, with Indy winning the second battle. I think this game will be very close, both teams are about even in every category--except for defense. That will be the difference. Prediction: Texans by 3 #1 |
