The legend of Nick Foles lived on in Chicago this past Sunday, barely, as they defeated the Bears 16-15. The victory came after Cody Parkey's game-winning FG attempt hit the upright, and instead of the Bears heading to La La Land, the defending Super Bowl Champions are off to New Orleans. Technically, the Saints have had two weeks off; they wrapped up homefield on Week 16, giving Drew Brees and most starters an extra week off. The Saints have been known for their extra-potent offense for several seasons, and because of that, very few are giving Foles and the Eagles a chance. However, I will be in that minority; Foles has done too much since last year to make me believe that he'd be anything other than capable of pulling off a playoff upset. Prediction: Eagles by 6 #1 |
