If the Bruins were the worst team in the East Round Robin, the Stars have that label in the West, even though they finished third. I did not like what I saw from the Stars in the Round Robin, especially in the game against the Avalanche. The game against the Blues was just as bad, as they had problems with Jake Allen. Not Jordan Binnington, Jake Allen. That's troubling. Meanwhile, the Calgary Flames became too much for the Winnipeg Jets in their Qualifying Round series; though it was a four game win, it was almost like a dominant sweep. The Flames are quite scary, IMO, they're angry over their performance last year. The Stars...they just don't seem to have it. Prediction: Flames in six #1 |

Flames 2, Stars 0 Flames bounce back from their last minute Game Two loss with a shutout win in Game Three; Cam Talbot stopped all 35 Dallas shots. |
