Can you tell of few tuner cards like the one your referring too?
I've searched a few places but i have seen that they are only for
standard cable that only reach 125 channels max and don't support
Digital Cable My Time Warner Digital DVR box has like 3 times that or more.
What Donkeed is saying is when you connect it up, you play the show on the DVR and record/cap to your computer using the tuner. Tuners can record/cap stuff from a DVD or VCR playing. The channel stuff is irrelevant unless you are recording/capping directly from a channel.
