Just wanna know when downloading in Firefox is there a way to change the default save spot for the file from desktop to a folder of your choosing?

What kind of browser would it be if you couldn't?

You got plenty of settings you can adjust. Don't worry. :Kool

If you're downloading something from RS or another media host, it will download to the default location. But you can just go into options and change where things download to.
If you're downloading / saving an image from the web, you can choose wherever you want to put the file.

You get no option download location for RS? Are you sure you don't just have it set to just download to the default location for downloads?

I have it set to ask me every time where to download. Also I have it set to download every file type since I never open from source (temp files). That saves having to click a prompt asking if I want to download or open when downloading many links. :Kool

Maybe it's different because I'm on a mac, but alot of times when I download something, i don't get any popup / menu to select a destination. It just puts it into the default location, and also into the Firefox download bar on the bottom of the browser. From that I can always access the file until I clear it.

Thanks. That was exactly what I needed Soul. Maybe I can start switching over now.
