I have a VCR that for some reason has started to act weird.
When I have it on, the channels start changing on their own (usually going downwards)
I am not doing anything when this happens and the only way for it to stop is by either shutting off the VCR or clicking the channel button on the machine itself.
When I say "shut it off", I just mean turning off the power but the time still remains on the screen.

I forgot:
When I do shut it off, the time is replaced with a read-out that says 0 50 or 0 10
Also, it only seems to happen when I am using the tapes in the VCR. As it plays, the channels start moving...

Maybe the VCR is on it's last legs. They are not even making VCRs anymore so you better run out and get a VCR/DVD recorder. I think they are on the cheap side now. :Kool
