As far as I know, DVD recorders only can handle the 4.7 GB kind. Double check your manual on what disc it can use.

Either my DVD player is getting old or these 8,5 GB 240 min DVD RDL discs absolutely f-ing SUCK. 2 out of 5 of them malfunctioned before I was able to finalize them meaning I lost at least 4 hrs of good material. Don't use them is the message |
