So are those the same thing or is "hi-speed" a component of USB 2.0
How can I get "hi-speed" if they are not the same? Is there a download available?

The oldest part of my system is no older than 4-5 years

The high speed is just USB 2.0. They sell 4 port cards in PCI & PCIe cards if you have any open slots, or if you have no slots get rid of your dial up modem if you don't use it.

How can I activate these ports?
I know I have USB 2.0 but all they say are standard and not enhanced

Do you have the hardware installed and it's just not working? What exactly is the problem you're having?

I fixed it now!
I just had to install the drivers for the webcam (for some reason, they did not install with the rest of the stuff on the disk)

OK cool. I was gonna say sometimes USB ports act screwy because of device drivers. Sometimes even just simply removing the device and plugging it back in helps or just a system reboot.
