Here's my problem.....I can't seem to find any WDM files anywhere on my computer or CD's that I use to install ATI TV Wonder VE. After installing the program off the CD, the TV fails to start on the multimedia menu. When doing a system check that comes with the program it says that it needs WDM.inf driver file or files to be install to work properly. I used to be able to have them installed in the past, but I forgot everything I did. Now here's the catch...... I don't have the web yet at home on that computer. The system check wants me to download them off the web. Is that the only way to get that? I think they should be found on a CD....if not the ATI CD, then the Windows CD.....I use ME, but I was also looking for driver files on a Windows 2000 and Windows 98se disks. Tried to install a Win TV USB capture program, but again the progam failed to work. I do believe the WDM files might be to blame. Although, the computer may not be recognizing the USB ports. I haven't determined that yet. P.S. Anyone know of other sites where I can ask this question? If no one here can help. I'll check back here on Monday. |

I just got the answer I wasn't wanting. The driver has to come off the ATI website. So I am forced to not cap until I get the web back. However, on the site I asked....they recommended trying a USB key. I'll have to get a USB key and hopefully I can download DScaler with it too. But, even if I do that it will take days for me to get this done. If I can get it done. |
