Thanks HSF. At least a reply. Hoped I wasn't the only one but also not tech savvy enough to figure it out. Know it has to have something to do with reading the link posted. Wonder why we cant do something simple like copy/paste for a small pic.

Have really tried to change my sig pic for the fun of it every couple weeks but something odd is going on now. I have used the same host for years and now the posted link gets the error message "cannot determine size". It is within the parameters allowed. Anyone else getting this or know why it may be happening? |

Not only can we not create a sig pic anymore but now the avatar file has corrupted with the same error message. "Cannot determine dimensions of the file". Anyone who has a clue or time to work on this would have deep gratitude I am sure. |

Fordloco, I just changed my avatar. I took the picture I wanted, and resized it in Paint to meet the site requirements. Paint will tell you the size of the resultant image in pixels. I remembered that size, uploaded the picture and pointed to it in my profile. I received the message you described but I simply entered the size that Paint had given me in the boxes and it works fine. |

The forum software was updated recently, but it obviously didn't fix the issue. That's really all I can add. The issue is entirely up to the admins to solve. Octob2105: The issue is specifically with the signature, not the avatar. We're unable to upload a signature picture of any size at the moment. |

The avatar issue would only come up if you left both dimension fields blank; the automatic sizing is apparently corrupt. I believe as long as one of the fields has a value, the avatar will appear. As for the signature issue, we're still looking into it. |

Thanks for what was added all. Was able to put in dimensions and get the avi. Previously I didn't have to. Software updates didn't seem to fix the sig but may try again later. BUT THAT BEING SAID, why don't we just put a size option on the sig entry like there is on the avi? Guess that shows how little I know about programming.
