Anyone got it? I'm thinking of getting a receiver, but I want some feedback from anyone who has it. :Kool

I don't have it but I have listened to it. Honestly, if you don't listen to terrestrial radio it's not worth it.

It's the same music just clearer (think CD quality) but if you think your iPod music quality is good enough (like I do) spending money for the receiver is a waste (even with the few added subchannels).

Better to get XM or Sirius.

I listen to the radio when I'm driving around. I'm already thinking of putting a new sound system in my ride and thought it would be a nice add on. The only thing I'm worried about is poor signals resulting in a sub-HD sound when I'm expecting CD quality.

Satellite radio is cool because you can listen to it anywhere in the country along with the variety. Not to mention the FCC isn't all over them about the content. The only thing is the monthly fee...I don't know if listen to the radio that much to be paying for it.

From what I had heard and read, it is not worth the money. First you got to get the radio and then you have to pay fees to get it.

I might be wrong, but for each radio, you have to pay extra. And as far as what it is they were saying it was going to be, they are not doing as well as they thought. Thay are losing money big time. I could be wrong, I might be thinking of something else

If you want something to hear just while you are on the internet, you might try out www.live365.com. I like the old radio stuff and they have alot of it plus todays music, talk, phone pranks. You name it, they should have it. You just have to look aroung thier site

I know you have to get the HD ready radio and HD tuner, but I don't think you pay fees for the stations. I know one station that's already broadcasting in both formats.

I only want it for when I'm driving around. I want to get some new speakers and amps and put a sub in the back. When I was in high school and college I would always install systems in my own and my friends' cars. It's been a while since I had a nice audio system so this is the next toy I'm getting. :lol: I think it would be nice to have clear radio to complement the new speakers.
