Post subject:  Question for the Mods

For some reason I cannot access the forum from my pc at home. No problem getting logged in on the pc at work though??
At home I can get on the site but when I log in the screen is just blank...tried it several times in the past few days.
Any idea why?

Thanks for any help

Do, you stop at a local bar for a nip or 2 before tring to get on this site at home ? If so, try to stay away from the nips first

Just kidding, I know I can't help you on this one. Besides, I'm not a mod ;) So I guess you need more help from the people that know more about computers then I do, and that ain't saying much on my part. I hope somebody can help you.

Take Care, slowpoke

I've thought this through and here are my suggestions...

1. Check you firewall setting. You may want to set up the link as a "permitted" site to go to.

2. Check your internet settings for the browser. It may be that you can't see anything if the cookies are not enabled or blocked.

I think Aliens took over your computer.

If what Rocky told you doesn't work. What internet browser are you using? Do you have your own IP or do you connect with an ISP? When you say the screen is blank. . . do you mean that you see nothing on the screen or do you see the login where it asks for username and password.

I can get to the sign on page but when I type in my username and password it seams the sign in is good but the screen is blank.
I'll have to check the FW settings unless you think it may be something else. Never had the problem on that pc before and haven't recently changed anything??
Thank for the help.

I don't know, but how about if you get banned, then allowed back in and start over again from scratch

Just a thought :?

That won't help b/c access is available on another computer so it's a cookies, firewall or IP problem.

You wouldn't happen to know what your home IP is would you. If you do PM me it and I might know what the problem is

That does make sense. PM Yoda and he could check if your IP number is on our "List".

oh and it's not saying that you were banned but an IP that's like yours was and I need to define the list so you can get through.
