Post subject:  Batch renaming of files

Is anybody aware of a program that allows you to rename files in batches, apart from ACDSee. My ACDSee trial has expired, and reinstalling the trial package doesnt work as it has a way of identifying whether the machine has had the trial installed previosuly.

Thanks for your help

Are you wanting to just rename? Or do you want to convert files from like .bmp to jpeg?

Paintshop will convert to different file types I don't know if it will rename stuff though. You can download it at www.download.com

If that wasn't what you were talking about try going to download.com and doing a search for batch renaming.

Thanks for your help. I found a great program called Complete File Renamer 2, it lets you rename thousands of files in series.
