Post subject:  R.S. This is not a valid RapidShare-URL
Has anyone have troubles with R.S for the last 2 days or so ? I have been doing the same as I always did and I get this message "This is not a valid RapidShare-URL" The video below is a part I put up a few months ago and it worked then. I went back and just picked one out of one of my folders and got that message. It's the same as before, I never changed anythig. I'm sure that the older download will work, but the new ones won't load up right

I have tried more then 4 vids, and keep getting the same message. What is up with me or R.S. ? I know I'm getting older, but I don't think my mind has gone bad that fast.

That's strange. Are you using RS.com folder or RS.de? I know RS.com has seperate folder system.

That file looks like a HJ split part. You can play the partials with VLC player.

Or you can remove the ".001" and play that as an individual file with WMP.

I still get this message. I formatted my computer just incase I changed something by mistake. After doing all that, it still comes out with the same message (below) It's not like I'm new at uploading with them. I did everything the same as always, then this comes up. I'm with the R.S. com now, most sites I go to post using the .con instead of the .de now

On the full pages you get that you can also use so others can download your post. here is one that worked last week and the message I got. I can downlowd on the pages at R.S. but when I go to copy and paste them I get this

Make sure all words are spelled correctly.

I just saw this exact problem posted somewhere else today! Make sure the link is the FULL link. RS.com is getting into a habit of shortening the links fo SOME UNKOWN REASON! :?

If you are copying links, make sure you right click and select "Copy Shortcut". By doing that, you are assured of having the full link to copy somewhere else. :Thumb

Thanks rocky, I'll gave to give that a try when I get a chance. I formatted my computer to see if that would help incase I did something wrong that screwed my R.S. I don't take much pride into R.S. getting back to me. Once I get all my sites back up that I belong to, I'll look around to see what up with them also.

Until I get this taken care of, I don't think I can post anything. :evil:
