Sounds like a real good deal to me, especially with a 22 inch LCD. I paid about $1100 AFTER rebates for mine and it came with 19 inch LCD.
I might have gotten ripped off, since i don't know much about computer prices.

My local Office depot has a HP M9040n computer with a HP w2207 22" LCD Monitor on sale for 899. Looks like it has all I want and was wondering what everyone thought of the deal. |

Depends on the specs and what you want to do w/ it. Did a quick search and found this one which is similar to what you're talking about: http://www.officedepot.com/ddSKU.do?lev ... &An=browse But, I doubt it's the same one. Dunno. So, what do you want to do w/ the PC. If you want to be able to play the latest games like the upcoming Crysis then you really need: Intel Quad Core processor, 2 GB RAM Minimum, and an NVidia 8800 GTS Graphics card. If all you want to do is surf the web and do Microsoft Office stuff then you could probably get any PC w/ Windows XP made within the past few years. Just depends. |

I have been playing the heck outta the Crysis demo. Man o man...that game is gonna be so sweet!! I'm actually building a new pc right now. Going with a DirectX 10 vid card. Hopefully be done before XMAS. Can't wait to play Crysis on max settings. Peace. |
