WOO-HOO!!!! Even with the HR-20 out, I DID NOT give up my Tivo units. Even though I figured they would be phasing them since they had their own DVR's and they switched up to mpeg-4 which the old Tivo's didn't support. I liked the units so much I kept them putting away the thought they would eventually become high tech paper weights. I also sent them a few complaints when they switched formats and didn't offer support for the older Directivo's, and I guess I wasn't the only one who wouldn't give up my Tivo. They finally gave in to the voices of the people!

Now they announced the will have a Tivo unit next year!

I can't wait for the details, and as a capper I'm hoping for unlocked usb ports or firewire support.

TIVO is the best thing ever!!!

I go through DVD recorder every 10 months and my first gen,2 hours on high quality capacity Tivo still works like charm.Best part is it records and has limited function without subscription fee.

Will have to check that out.I have the HR-21 don't care for it.
