I did not believe this online ad until I read the fine print at the very bottom of the page.

Not only do you get affiliated stations from across the country, but you even get stations from other countries (read their FAQ's for more details).

Good luck to those thinking about taking the next big leap in technology. ;)
Hope some people can discuss the pro's and con's of this service--even though their discounted price is only up for a short time.

Here is the link:

Has anyone bought the package?

What are the features? That is what I want to know--not who is speaking on the package.

No, I have not bought the package. It isn't in my price range.
I thought I would bring it to the forum's attention just in case if anyone was curious on possibly expanding their capping horizons.

That's all. Good luck, hope you enjoy watching other newscasts.

Matt

It doesn't even offer a free evaluation but asks for money, no contact information or other links.

There is no way I would buy "it".

Seems scammish as with anything that sounds too good to be true. A simple google search of reviews should yield some results for you. From what I've read it's either a scam or the PQ is so bad it's really not worth it. I'm not trying it out. Anyone want to drop a 50 spot and give us a review, then go for it. I'm guessing it's something like sopcast, but I don't where they are streaming it out of. Probably either really bad quality or the source won't be available all the time. Good luck...you'll need it.

Exactly.

I was just about ready to invest in this new "software" business some time ago (not purchasing but actually invest in the company itself)... but as with everything online (and off), I Googled it and saw that it was nothing more than a scam.

Would have been nice though...

If it were real... what a moneymaker it would be.

It's a scam because TVU is FREE.

http://www.tvunetworks.com/

You can watch it in your browser or on their TVU Player. They sort of get all the free streams from around the world and any broadcaster that wants to put their channel on the internet so it's not really satellite tv.

I remember awhile ago they had Fox News streaming, don't know if they have it now. Video quality is as expected from these streams...

satellitetvtopc.com is being run out of a PO Box in Canada. The domain is scheduled to expire on 11/16/2008 (sure it could be renewed, but why wait until the last minute?)

They claim you have eight weeks for a very limited return. However the credit card processor CLICKBANK.NET their FAQ says only six weeks. Buyer beware.
