They are even on Twitter in a big way now. I just had two show up[actually probably generated by the same bag of crap masquerading as a person] in my followers this morning. How do I know they're spam? Lets see, 2 accounts with a nonsensical mishmash of letters and numbers as screen names. [I mean it it looks like an extra long captcha] 2 accounts with pics of 2 insanely hot females 1 claims to be a sports fanatic. One whose profile says "I love to take your warm load on my stomach" 2 accounts with 'easyurl' urls in the description/profile 2 easyurls that STAY easy urls when you roll the mouse over them[ya'll did know that trick right? roll the pointer over the url and it'll show you the address it's actually going to take you to? just checkin] 2 accounts with 0 tweets, and 0 followers, but each following 830 and 870 repectively. I HATE SPAMMERS!!! DIE! DIE! DIE!!! DIE SPAMMERS! DDIIIIIEE!!!!! I want to find them and feed their bodies into a wood chipper and then use the shredded remains as fertilizer.*snarl* A message brought to you by your friendly neighborhood wolfman P.S. Twitter spam gets pretty annoying, I'll admit. Most of those accounts get deleted after a while, but it still bugs me how one magic word can bring in a flood of bot followers. (ProTip: Among the keywords not to use is "lose weight.") But I suppose that's one good thing about being an admin here, I get my frustrations out by playing whack-a-mole when idiots spam this place.
