Ordinarily, if I'm updating the Linda Stouffer WSB video thread, I just place sample caps there only.

I'm making an exception this time, because -- well, you'll see why

Recently, Linda and the WSB staff attended a gala to send off retiring anchor Monica Pearson.
Here's Linda as I'm sure most of us have NEVER seen her before...

( The other woman is WSB meteorologist Karen Minton )

Next - some recent anchoring.... Do you sense a theme here? :lol:

I guess while I'm at it, I'll toss in some bonus material, too...
Came across this on an old, defunct news media site with some rare stuff. Back in the '80s as a teen in Texas,
it seems Linda (then known by her real first name Cinnamon -- Linda's her middle name) wound up as the state winner
of the 1987 TX Junior Miss Pageant, and was active in theater.
Here we see a pageant article, and several yearbook shots -- no mistaking the smile

Always thought she was one of the most beautiful anchors. CNN really messed up by firing her. Then again, judging by their numbers, CNN hasn't done ANYTHING right in a long time :lol:

Always was one of my favs...ditto on CNN messing up...really was a dark day when I could not see her anymore on TV.

Well, having moved here after so many years in Fairbanks, I've been immediately drawn to some of the best attractive newscasters on local TV: Jovita Moore, Cynne Simpson, Tracye Hutchins, Stephany Fisher, Karen Graham, Karen Minton, Linda Stouffer, Joanne Feldman, Markina Brown, Sophia Choi, Brenda Wood, Heather Catlin, and Erin Coleman to name a few.

And then of course there was the one and only Monica Pearson, who started all this!
