Her last day on air in Pittsburgh will be October 19. She starts her weekday anchor gig on November 27. Jackie Cain, an anchor/reporter at WTAE, is leaving her hometown of Pittsburgh for an ABC affiliate in the Twin Cities. “A little #BreakingNews of my own to share,” Cain posted on Facebook today. ” After 5+ amazing years doing my dream job in my hometown, I’m heading to the Twin Cities to join the ABC affiliate KSTP-TV and their weeknight anchor team!” KSTP-TV, 5 Eyewitness News of St. Paul, Minnesota, announced Cain will anchor 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts. Hopefully, someone can cap her in the Twin Cities beginning in late November. |

Can't blame her for leaving. When Wendy Bell left, Jackie should have been named the 5 p.m. anchor while Shannon Perrine should be the 6 & 11 p.m. anchor. Janelle Hall is just plain lousy as an anchor. When they dropped her from anchoring the weekend evening news and made her a traffic reporter, the handwriting should have been on the wall for her future. And then they make her the 6 & 11 p.m. weekday anchor. Unbelievable. |

She's a good looking lady when I had seen her before when I was in Pittsburgh. |

Surprise she left because I read an article in one of the Pittsburgh paper she was a local there but guessing she's ambitious. Also I thought Wendy Bell was fired. |
