That Vet Dog certainly stole the show, especially after Savannah Guthrie gave that dog a smaller stuffed animal version to play around with.

Dylan managed to make it back safely from the American record rainfall soaking all of southeastern Texas during Tropical Storm Harvey.

On a separate note fashion wise, did anyone bother to notice that Hoda Kotb was wearing a very similar white dress with a slit skirt that Ginger Zee was wearing?

On the first day of YouTube's massive revamption of every page and making sure every video link is played faster than ever before--so I can get caps posted quicker than ever...

There were plenty of cool highlights on Thursday's show after multiple explanations during the first two hours ad nauseam about Tropical Storm Harvey churning up the Tennessee River Valley and penetrating towards the Beltway of Baltimore/Washington, D.C.

, get whisked off as if a whirlwind romance was going to take place

, and then once the new fall sunglasses came in :shades

--an impromptu fashion show broke out (complete with a 20th century industrial fan as a nice prop).

Sad to say, on Friday, September 22--it will be the last regular 9 a.m. show so NBC News can make way for Megyn Kelly TODAY:
